Work 1-on-1 with Choice Hacking founder

and certified Executive Coach, Jen Clinehens, to find your:

Focus

Clarity

Confidence

Work can feel overwhelming.

But it's easier with someone who's on your side.

Hi, I'm Jen. Nice to meet you! ๐Ÿ˜Š

I'm the founder and managing director of Choice Hacking - I've also worked in marketing, innovation, and advertising for 20+ years (as an entrepreneur, agency strategist, consultant, and client-side brand manager).

I'm here to help you go further, faster. As a Board Certified Executive Coach, I can help you navigate change, refine strategic direction, and be more influential with colleagues and clients.

What is Executive Coaching?

Executive coaching is a series of outcome-focused, confidential conversations that can help you build - and thrive in - an effective, creative, and healthy organization. Here are a few example of what Executive Coaching is, and what it isn't:

Executive Coaching is:

  • NOT life coaching. Unless pertinent to your work situation, we won't be bringing your personal life or history into our work
  • Outcomes focused. Each session will begin and end with a specific goal that we can meet through developing a plan, validating a course of action, role playing tough situations, and more.
  • NOT therapy. A board certified or ICF-certified executive coach is not a licensed therapist and therefore is unable to diagnose/treat a mental health condition.
  • Pragmatic and helpful. We'll work together to help solve your thorniest issues at work with specific plans and actionable next steps.
  • NOT consulting. Executive coaching builds on your skills, knowledge and experience to find solutions to your issues. If you're looking for consulting or advisory-style coaching I offer those as separate services.
  • Few deliverables, but plenty of value. While our coaching is mainly conversation-based, I will occasionally send you resources like book recommendations or worksheets. But I won't be creating strategy decks for your marketing org, for example.
  • NO fluff or HR BS. Executive coaching is outcomes focused. I'm not interested in any feel-good Facebook memes or HR speak that doesn't mean anything.
  • Proven approaches, frameworks and tools: I'm an experienced leader, a board certified coach, and an MBA here to help you get better - not waste your time with fluffy nonsense.
  • NO agenda. Executive coaching is confidential and my only personal agenda is to see you succeed and transform into the leader you want to be. As you well know, the more successful people get the harder it is to get people to tell you the truth. Part of my job is telling you the truth.
  • Confidential, objective conversations. No one will ever hear about what goes on in our sessions before, during, or after our work together (the only exception is if you express a desire to hurt yourself or others).

Even Steve Jobs had a Coach...

Billion (and trillion) dollar CEOs, CMOs, marketing directors, and even heavy metal bands rely on the objective advice of qualified coaches. Here are just a few examples:

  • Steve Jobs was coached by several people including John Mattone and Bill Campbell.
  • Jeff Bezos was coached by Jim Collins and Bill Campbell.
  • Sheryl Sandberg, Larry Page, and Twitter's Jack Dorsey were also coached by Bill Campbell.
  • Oprah works with personal coach Martha Beck
  • Metallica was famously advised by performance coach Phil Towle as documented in the film, "Some Kind of Monster."

What Clients Have to Say

"When I started my coaching sessions with Jen, I was nervous. I wasn't sure one to one coaching would help me but I knew something had to change [at work]. I kept trying to convince people that my ideas were good and that they should be approved but I wasn't very successful.

After a few sessions with Jen working to improve my presentation decks with behavioural science and AI, I noticed a difference right away. My boss even said I seemed more confident in my work (and the client noticed too).

Thank you Jen."

Rosie w.

"I was doubtful about Executive Coaching at first. It seemed like it was a bunch of vague nonsense. I was quickly proven wrong once we started our sessions [after my employer hired Jen].

Engaging in role-play exercises, simulating challenging conversations and meetings was particularly helpful. This preparation was invaluable bolstering my confidence and equipping me for my most daunting of workplace challenges...

I now recommend Executive Coaching to all of my colleagues and direct reports."

greg c.

"In scale up, all businesses lean on the guidance of a few select people, and as one of our most valued โ€œfriends of Dragonflyโ€ Jen has been instrumental in our growth as a business.

We listen carefully when we have time with her, as her insights are second to none, always pragmatic and driven by her years of experience on both brand and agency sides of the fence.

Thank you Jen."

Pricing & Next Steps

Pricing & Next Steps

Although I would love to take on everyone who approaches me for coaching, my schedule only allows for a limited number of coaching clients a year (I do maintain a waitlist for potential clients if there's no availability at the moment). I don't want to waste your time or mine, so I'll only work with those folks who truly benefit from a coaching engagement.

How much does it cost to work with you?
Packages start at $2000 USD per month (with adjustments depending on length of engagement and your local currency's purchasing parity to the US dollar). For clients in the United Kingdom, I also charge VAT.

If cost is an issue, please consider my Group Coaching cohort that I run once a year.

How long will we work together?
Coaching engagements are tailored to you, but last a minimum of 3 months, with most lasting 6-12 months (and beyond).

How many coaching clients do you take on at a time?
My total available capacity is only 5 clients in a year. I keep a waitlist for interest folks once I hit max capacity. Please register your interest below:

Due to limited coaching capacity, my client roster is invite-only.

I don't know if I'm the right coach for you. And I don't want to work with you if I'm not.
